We your committee on Publication and Temperance would respectively submit the following:
We deem it of the greatest importance that we, as a denomination, should have a pure literature. We therefore recommend the prayerful reading of the Word of God, and as a denominational literature, we recommend the Evangel, published at San Francisco, and the Baptist, published at Memphis, Tenn.
On the subject of Temperance, we recommend the gospel plan, to be temperate in all things. As faithful exponent of ground principles of Temperance, we heartily recommend the Rescue, published at Los Angeles.
J. W. Duckworth, W. S. Tandy, Committee.

We have been blessed with the preaching of the Gospel by Elder H.M. Henderson, pastor.
Religion seems low, but little interest being taken in the Church.
We ask for the prayers of this association, for a leader and a blessing in the religion of Jesus Christ.
C.G. Dorris, Clerk.
We highly esteem the privilege of meeting in an associational capacity and especially welcome the gathering with us.
Pray that the Lord may rule during the session of the Association. Have enjoyed the services of Elder J. D. Bonner, as Pastor during the year.
T. B. Vernon, Clerk.
